Results since brand launch
Following the launch of the new brand – Ellen saw a 24,4% sales increase y.o.y. Also, the new packaging design tested significantly stronger on all identified positioning and attributes driving purchase.

Background & insights
Silver helped feminine intimate hygiene brand to identify a unique and exciting position. On a market growing by 10-20% p.a. – Ellen was seeing a challenge with keeping up with competitors. Insights found that Ellen lacked a consistent, unique and positioning and design, with the result that customers did not perceive the products to have the high quality or values that drives purchase in the category.

Together with the Ellen management team, Silver created an updated positioning that was centered around the insight that problems relating to feminine intimate hygiene are increasing. The brand was positioned to be an enabler for balanced intimate health and focused on a number of purchasing drivers for the prioritized target group. Brand identity and packaging design was redesigned as a consequence of the position, creating a distinct design system that brings Ellen’s communication and product portfolio together with warm, natural colors and a modern, feminine expression.
